“Don’t take it all too seriously. If you want to live your life in a creative way, as an artist, you have to not look back too much. You have to be willing to take whatever you’ve done and whoever you were and throw them away.”

-Steve Jobs

So that is what I did.

Hi. My name is Alisha Chelsea (M&^%#@ F&%%$#) Jones. I am a published author, independent musician, and spiritual advisor. You are now in my art space. I am constantly re-creating a better version of myself. I used to be a Social Worker. I used to be a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blogger but then I stopped, abruptly. It’s all B.S., really.

SO….I trashed all of my blog posts, my previous social media posts, and have recreated my web presence as my most true and authentic self.

So… this is my art these days.

I wrote down a gruesome process of self-healing. All fiction, of course ;)

The books I self-published Acquainted, You Wrote This Into Me, and MindFuck (I aptly titled “The Awakening Trilogy”) shares that journey in-depth in raw form. I wrote me down to directly contrast the version of who I previously was, and chose to share it so that others may heal themselves. Buy them if you are ready to figure out exactly who you are.

In my search, I stopped and questioned why I, or anyone, feels the need to prove their value and worth on the internet. I realized that each of us are in a healing process of varying degrees at the end of that tumultuous winding road to self-realization. For years I struggled with my true identity, a deep-seated lack of confidence, and a need for others to validate me. My low self-esteem came at the expense of my appearance, my previous career as a Social Worker, my health, and my valuable relationships. Your clothes, hair, and makeup are the least interesting thing about you because your true Self is a wrecking ball of perfection. We are all too scared of our infinite potential and don’t trust the Universe to provide. Trust is scary, even within ourselves.

I wish you well. Take a look around. Feel me out. There’s a lot here.

Namaste, bitches.
