Subtract Some Hair & Add A (BIG) Necklace

So yes, I finally got my undercut. After looking at Pinterest one too many times I shaved it off. It's surprisingly refreshing to have less hair. I now understand how people cut their hair short and NEVER go back.  There is wind in my scalp YAAAS! I'll post more picks on my IG.

Cut it three days ago...already growing back! This is gonna be some serious upkeep!

Anyways, so these necklaces! I received some feedback on my blog that said I never talk about accessories. My BAD Y'ALL! Today I am dedicating this entire post to accessories I LOVE and where to snag them!

Shopping tips for accessories:

1. Spend less on fast fashion and more on quality pieces.

We know Kylie and Riri had you ready for chokers, bandanas, chains but recognize that this trend is very temporary. UNLESS something fits into your signature style-drop the least coins in the fast fashion zone because you're gonna replace most of it preeeeeetty frequently.

2. Faux is mo'!

We all need a little glitz and glam for the holidays, but unless you are Mariah Carey, we gotta glitter on a budget, ok?! So find some high impact jewelry to bedazzle the crowd and turn that sweater dress into a showstopper! *twirl*

3. Make Spirits Bright with unique jewelry from ScotchBonnet and Babaa's Jules!

ScotchBonnet (pictured first)  is a company that boasts handmade products that are insanely bright and unexpected. Support and shop here! And sidenote- don't you love their LOGO??!!

Last but not least Baaba's Jules jewelry store (pictured second)  sounds just like the name- eccentric and mysterious. Baaba's online store leans more towards the hippie side- but I am sure to be back to shop to get my bejeweled yogi fix! Check them out here.
